Dr. Hoppe’s research focuses on the biophysical mechanisms of cell-surface receptor signaling governing cell growth and function. He is developing new imaging technologies to quantify molecular interactions on the surface and inside living cells. This information is being used to create mechanistic and mathematical models of signaling pathways.
